Superchips remap for the Audi A1
Superchips remap for the Audi A1
The Audi A1 has now been around for a good few months and it has become one of the best selling Superminis of the year, partly thanks to some great Audi offers. It has won numerous awards all across the board, from WhatCar? to GreenCar, the A1 is not short of accolades.
Since the release of the Audi A1, Superchips, a very well known ECU remapping company has been analysing the ECU map of the Audi system. After much analysing and testing Superchips are finally ready to offer a performance boosting ECU remap.
The Superchips remap has been tested in real world driving conditions and on Superchips’ in-house chassis dyno-meter. According to the results the Audi A1 1.4 TFSI Sport ECU provides a maximum power boost of 26bhp at 6168rpm.
Tests have also been carried out by independent third parties who have verified that a SuperChip remap sees the A1 do 0-62mph in 7.8 seconds, an improvement on the standard model’s 8.9 seconds, that’s a staggering 1.1 seconds faster.

As with all Superchip remaps the fuel economy of the Audi A1 remains uncompromised, with average fuel consumption remaining at 45mpg if driven in a ‘like-for-like’ manner with a standard Audi A1 1.4 TFSI.
