Our instructors are classically trained chefs, health food coaches, barbeque experts and everything in between! CAC provides the venue/ticketing/branding support and business support for our members, and our members develop what they want to teach!

STATE LAW CHANGING! “Domestic kitchens will no longer be inspected and permitted by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture Consumer and Industry Services. No new permits will be issued for domestic kitchens that were not previously permitted from now going forward unless the individual would like to wholesale (sales other than direct to the consumer) their product. Domestic kitchen permits will cease renewal after July 1, 2018.”

CAC’s Culinary PREP Center

This will be a 3,000 sq ft commercial state-inspected kitchen of 3 bays, aging/culturing/brewing spaces, and wood-fired ovens! We are here for YOU – food-preneurs ready to launch that food truck, catering business or other standard or niche traditional culinary endeavor. All foodies welcome!

Our special passion is supporting traditional food businesses!

As an added future bonus, Columbia’s Culinary Arts Center will be partnering with local farmers and bulk providers to get the best seasonal produce into the hands of our teaching members and prep-kitchen members!
