Island Bend Farm

Island Bend Farm is located in the beautiful countryside of Bath Springs, TN just outside of Jackson on Hwy 641 S.

Their property consisting of 1000 acres, has a variety of terrains, from woods to rolling pastures and on this property they have some of the most gorgeous Rhode Island Red hens you’ve likely ever seen.

These hens beautiful and happy plus they’re also well nourished. They produce pastured, delicious, healthy, dark orange yolk eggs.

Grant Irwin, the owner of the farm, believes in raising hens in the rotational grazing style, keeping them in a mobile hen house and moving them daily to fresh pastures – very similar to the Joel Salatin method.

The hens have access to not only supplemental feed, but a broad assortment of grasses, herbs, weeds, grains, flies, mosquitoes, ticks, bugs, slugs, grubs, worms, grasshoppers, and more. These hens get the best feed and therefore produce the highest quality eggs available.

As of now, Grant Irwin is offering eggs in a variety of places, including drops in Jackson, Memphis, Nashville, and many routes in between.

They also have events on their property in the beautiful event center located right on the river, and it comes with it’s own gigantic barn for weddings and other special occasions.

Their future plans include offering raw dairy, grassfed beef, even pastured pork from Margaleesa pigs. If you’d like to get on their route and start receiving products from them, contact Grant at 731-549-9228 or Deborah at 239-989-2258.
